We all do it. It’s two days before Christmas, or even Christmas Eve, and you realize you somehow ended up with multiple stocking stuffers for little Jenny, and only one for Ben. Or maybe you’re just barely getting out to buy items for stockings at all!
Most stores have at least one aisle dedicated to chintzy, cheap stocking stuffers. Lots of candles, lotions, plastic kid’s toys that will break in five minutes, or the classic coffee mug filled with cocoa packets or tea. Don’t get sucked into buying cheap junk just for filler material!
This year, fill their stockings with healthy, useful, but still fun gifts that are made of quality materials. My children LOVE their stockings simply because they are filled with items they will use on a regular basis, not things that will end up in the garbage in a week because they broke, or lost since they didn’t care about them anyway.
